The Craft

The Craft in the sky
So frail !
The flight of birds
So swift !
Tells the tale
Of creation and motion.

The wisdom of man
How fleeting !
The design of God
How unknown !
Need one ponder
What would prevail.

The matters of heart
An enigma !
The beauty of nature
An ensemble !
Need one fathom
The mystery of life.

The chasms man create
So needless !
The harmony of time
So serene !
Can one wither
From the path of love.

(A tribute to Late Pu Chonsei Kilong, MDC) [Is it mere coincidence that I wrote these lines on the fateful night of your passing]

Miracles

Do you believe in miracles? Well, you should. In fact, life is a big miracle. There are so many things that are beyond our understanding. There are two ways to live : you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle. - Albert Einstein

So Near And Yet So Far

He thrids the labyrinth of the mind,
He reads the secret of the star,
He seems so near and yet so far,
He looks so cold: she thinks him kind

(In Memoriam by Lord Alfred Tennyson)

Water, water, every where

Water, water, every where,
And all the boards did shrink;
Water, water, every where,
Nor any drop to drink.

(The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge)
